What happens if I use a 35mm ISO 200 film for my Holga 135?

The manual says 'Films to be used: 135 type colour or black and white film of ASA 100/ISO 21 or ASA 400/ISO 27 speed. So my questions are: 135 films are 35mm right? (why call it 135?), Can I use a 35mm ISO 200 film which I happened to have lying around? (how would the pictures turn out?), what is ASA and ISO?
Thanks for helping me out!

The reason Holga specifies ISO 100 or 400 is probably because its DX code reader only recognizes those two ISOs. So if you use ISO 200 film the camera may default to ISO 100 and all your pictures will be underexposed by 1 stop. If, instead, it defaulted to ISO 400 all your pictures would be overexposed by 1 stop. Just use the ISO Holga specifies.

ASA and ISO pretty much mean the same thing: A measurement of the sensitivity to light of a light sensitive surface. ISO replaced ASA as a means of expressing film speed.
