What happens if my husband files for divorce while in BCT?

I'm supposed to swear into the Army reserves shortly. My husband, while he supports the idea of me joining for financial benefits, would like for me to have a "safe" job that "never deploys". I told him this isn't the least bit realistic. In all honesty, this is my choice and I'm happy with it. The stickler here is that we have two kids.

So, what happens if he were to file for divorce while I'm in DEPS, BCT, AIT, or after? And wouldn't I technically have to be served papers....? And I don't see that as being likely at BCT or AIT. Once I'm in the reserves, say two years down the road, what happens then if he files for divorce? I know single parents can't join...but what if I've already sworn in?

Thanks!
