From what I understand, atropine is a muscarinic receptor blocker and it alone is supposed to increase heart rate. Nicotine is biphasic (2 effects) and is a ganglion blocker. Can someone explain to me the response of the heart rate and how the blockers are involved.

Would atropine have any effect on nicotine? Does the heart rate increase or decrease from the result of the two drugs?
