Eg: Blessed + Cursed = "Accursed": Galatians 1:8,9

Eg: Life + Death = a "Grave" subject: John 5:29,29

So Sweet + Bitter ought not be mingled: James 3:11

Such becomes both Savlation + Destruction: Jude 1:5

What got "mingled" in Exodus 9 was "very grievous".

"Law worketh Wrath" can get very Destructive.

So is that why Christ refused the "mingled" drink?

Confusion and misinterpretation! This is what causes people to think there is contradiction.

The law brings death. The law of the spirit has set us free from the law of sin and death.
A mixture results in communicating that the work Jesus accomplished on the cross , when He said ''It is finished'', is not enough to establish your security in Christ. The scriptures say we are already seated in heavenly places. This confusion about grace vs the law is what causes people to go forward to be saved every week in services. This is what causes people to doubt their postion in Christ so they are relunctant to go to God in prayer but to remain distant , much like the people told Moses when he went up the mountain. Fear prevents intimacy with God and leads to a distant relationship where conviction is confusion with condemnation . There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus.

You get capitalism.
Grace is the ability to forgive
Law is an adherence to rote

What happens when you drink straight poison as opposed to diluted?
