I just bought a Sony BDP S-300 Blu Ray dvd player for my fiance's birthday. Since I can't ask him (lol), I wanted to know which cable I should be buying to connect the player to the tv (We have a Sony Bravia). We have a monster cable that we never used when we bought our Sony surround sound syst (which will now be obsolete since I just bought this!), but I don't think it could be used for this. What do you think? Do I need a pass thru w/the box that can switch between other HD devices AND a cable or just the cable? Thanks for your help guys!!

If you have the time, you can get high quality HDMI cables online for a lot less $

Check out monoprice.com. The link below is a 6 ft. cable but they have other lengths if you need a longer one.

Use the HDMI and check to see if your surround system has a digital input. If it does jus connect that and your all set.
