As in, say, you had a ragdoll cat for eight-nine years and then you buy a shih tzu puppy and you bring the puppy home. I've read that ragdolls are quite friendly (even with dogs), but I'm not sure about the shih tzu, since I know they're playful and friendly to OTHER DOGS, but I'm not sure if they're friendly with a cat that's friendly with dogs.
So, what will happen? Will they get along fine right on the spot? Will they be friends at some point in the near future? Will they be mortal enemies?
