Im looking to just get winter tires and rims but dont feel like paying extra for the 16 inch rims and lo pro tires that it came with just for the winter. So my question is can i put something small like 14's on it? Or whats a cheaper rim and tire combo i can get for it?

If you tried to use 14 inch rims etc the vehicle would be far too low to the ground.I'd suggest that you go check out a few auto wrecking yards to compare the prices of some good used basic steel rims. You may also be able to pick up 4 good used 16 inch winter tires from them just be sure to stay within the tire size specs written on a label on the door or inside your owners manual.

It actually be cheaper in the long run if you plan on keeping that vehicle for a several years to have a set of winter rims with tires handy to switch with the rims/tires you have now on it.I'd just be sure that the rims aren't bent and that you balance the wheels each year when you switch them around.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way a good set of 4 used basic rims for that vehicle should run around 80-200 bucks and if you buy used tires from the same company. They may offer you a better over all price and on the average each used winter tire runs about 35-50 bucks but this is in Canada and the price includes re-re and balancing,
