I have a "98 Honda Passport I just bought and everything is good on it accept the carpet the headliner and the paint, It needs some minor dings sanding and prep work before paint.
I want the factory green kind of a forest green redone on it and was wondering just how much I am going to have to spend to get it looking real nice again.
I know Maaco will do it for like $230 and that has to be a joke or at best a very poor paint job, Another guy said $1500 to make it look sweet and I asked him about paying cash and he said $1200 so what are your thoughts or recommendations?
My guess is depending on how much you wanna spend is what you`re going to get right?
Thanks =]

No to Maaco. All they do is spray a deglosser on there and sand a tad and spray. That would be silly to me unless its a trash car. If the car sucks then go to Maaco, if not then try it right. I know enough to not go to Maaco.

A "Great" full paint job can be done for around 10k in the state of Texas. Depending on conditions and the cost of products in your region the prices may vary. Personally I would take Maaco's offer on the 250$ because they do fine paint jobs.
