or even better has no vocals? I love metal and rock but i am getting really bored of the screaming and stuff. Is there a band or a few song that have really good guitar and drumming (hardcore) with no screaming?
Check out either of the albums from Liquid Tension Experiment. It's all instrumental, and it was made up of three members of Dream Theater, plus Tony Levin on bass. That might do the trick for you ...
Blotted Science is superb, death metal minus vocals, and there are hundreds of metal bands with clean vocals, dream theater, cloudscape, Avantasia and Ayreon are my favorites.
Also Liquid Tension Experiment and Planet X are excellent instrumental bands.
