What is a reliable brand of DVD-RW drive amongst LG/SONY/AOPEN/LITE-ON?

I am building a new system. E8200, 2 GB DDR2 800 ram, Gigabyte ep35-ds3p motherboard; 8800gt card. Win XP home edition. I will be using it for spreadsheeting, internet, word-processing, gaming, movies. I need a reliable IDE DVD drive on it and a suitable SATA HDD. For HDD I am considering a Western Digital 320 GB sata 3.5" (for AUD $82). Pls make suggestions for the HDD and the DVD drive (frm the list).
