What is a short but epic anime?

Now i want to watch a new anime but i've searched for loads and can't find a good one thats short but epic... I class Death Note, Full Metal Alchemist, Eureka 7, Code Geass and tengen toppa gurren lagann as epic. Soo does anyone know an anime like or better than those? thanks.
