What is an interesting topic for an english oral exam? Global issues, sports...?

I have to talk 3 minutes about a certain topic. Some easy to debate and related to the English spoken world.
The topic must be as much debatable as possible.
 
perhaps a nice twist on an english exam might be something literary. such as a speech on a provocative author, whose commentaries/writings might be held arousing. such as John Steinbeck always writing about poor people or a modern theme such as how to relate biblical themes from modern movie pieces.. like the matrix(getting to/saving zion) or star wars and the forest at endor..its in the old testament.. this could be very thought provoking and incredibly debatable.
