Being a cynical sort of person I would look at 'greenwash' - the way that energy companies sell products as somehow being environmentally sounder when in fact they are not.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean but why don't you look at what you do on an average day to day life talk about the energy you used. Or just look at one specific part like the morning so you will get up shower etc... say how much energy your using. How this can affect different factors such as your money, long term effects ect...
