I have a 1984 ymaha ss440 It starts up fine and doesn't smoke a whole lot. I just recently bought it, and it does need a new track, is the smoking possibly caused because the clutch is trying to turn the track, but the track on it is like half fallen off. I notice that a lot of smoke is coming off of the clutch area.. I plan to buy a new track, but i'm just curious if maybe anyone can think of anything else that may be causing it.. PS. think about what kind of snowmobile it is, and what feautures it may have. Thanks
