The Left sides with the terrorists. It's been that way for a long time. After 9-11 they were almost drooling over al-Qeada's "bold action" saying we deserved it. Then they blamed it on the Jews, and are still blaming the Jews. Alas, people in general are being brainwashed into thinking HAMAS is this misunderstood entity.

Actually they are a terrorist group that the Palestinians voted into power to take care of them. HAMAS has proven to be foolish and incompetent as everything they control has fallen into disrepair and non-payment of the people that work for them. As always, they blame their problems on the West.

It's not just leftists. The big traffickers in hate propaganda are the anti-semites (religious racists). They don't follow any specific political agenda, but they draw support across the whole spectrum.
These people don't use reason to support what they believe, they use emotion. That is why they have no respect or use for the truth, unless it confirms what they already think. They work backwards from their conclusion, looking for 'proof' of what they already believe. Hate is ugly that way, when it tries to hide behind facts.
