The EPA's method for fuel efficiency if biased towards big vehicles with big engines and biased against smaller vehicles with less power. This is because the major part of their testing is done indoors on a treadmill and doesnt account for the wind resistance or starting inertia.
I wanna buy an RSX-S. Its only rated 26 city 30 hwy but my toyota echo is getting 38 in city and 48 on the highway but is rated 29 city and 32 highway.
If its a slight increase in gas cost I can do it. But how much?
Do you have an RSX-S?
What is your mpg?
Thanks.
