i been wanting to know what the majority of the people like the most
 
Impossible to say which bike brand is the "best". Huge companies like Specialized or Giant make many top quality bikes, but as they are mass produced a failure may fall through the customer service cracks and create a bad reputation for the company. And Many small boutique brands like Turner, BLK MRKT, or Intense (to name a couple) will be less popular just becasue they are less well know. A better question would be favorite bike brands...
 
of what type of bike? your gonna get a lot of different answers.
specialized, cerovelo (road). specialized, kona, (general mtn). kona, norco,santa cruz, (dh).
 
There is no way to accurately give you the best three because there are a ton of good brands, all specializing in different disciplines and price ranges.

Best Value - IronHorse
Awesome - Kona, Norco, Felt
Hard Core - Specialized, Rock Mountain, Santa Cruz, Turner, Pivot
Cross Country - Specialized, Giant, Felt, Trek
All Mountain - Rock Mountain, GT, Norco
DH and Freeride - Kona, Giant, KHS, Trek

I hope your talking about mountain bikes, cause thats all i got.
