I have a 1080p Toshiba LCD and a ps3. Right now I plug the ps3 directly into the TV and do not have a surround sound system.
I am looking for a 5.1 system with a 1080p receiver that I can just hook my ps3 into and then just plug the receiver into the TV.
My price range is up to $500 but not over.
I am also wondering if I can just get a 5.1 surround sound system that comes with a DVD player and just throw it out and use my ps3 instead. If I did that would I still get full 1080p and would I have to buy a receiver?
