what is the best internet service provider satellite? I want about 2 mbs Pure

I've actually been researching about it this morning for another question. Basically it first comes down to what your idea of a "low price" is. For less then $30, your only option in rural areas is dial-up. When it comes to satellite, you're going to be paying well over $50-$100/mnth for service that is going to be utter crap. Find reviews online about services such as Hughesnet and Skywayusa---they're all horrible. Complaints about customer service and outages all the time. Some have even reported outages as long as a year from what I read.

If you get even mediocre cell service where you're at though, you might look into EVDO internet. I know Alltel offers monthly rates at $59/mnth. It's still pretty pricey, but you'll find that you get pretty close to constant DSL-like speeds. But if you're not willing to spend that much money....then your only option is dial-up anyways.
