What is the best phone for Cingular... or the new AT&T?

I am getting a new upgrade for my phone in March and I am not sure which phone to get. I would go with verizon but my parents (dad) won't switch my plan and I'm not paying for it. I really want the iPhone but don't have a chance at getting it so what are some really kool phones from there?
