What is the best way to cook deer meat?

Hi I was driving home on my way from a PETA meeting and accidently hit a baby deer breaking one of it's legs. It began to squirm and run away, so I felt sad and decided to spare it's life. I tied it by the neck and than dragged it home, but half of it's skin tore off on the way but the top half stil has meat. How do I cook it? I have no experience because I am a vegan.
