What is the best way to let someone know that their "joking" is going too far?

I've been hanging out with these people at school and at first they all seemed to be great people. A couple of them are still great people in my eyes but one in my opinion comes off like a serious douche bag. This person is always making "jokes", but I really don't think they are jokes. To me it sounds like they are trying to find an excusable way to be rude. They are constantly calling me a "stupid bitch" for no reason other than I disagreed with them on something. Just last week this person started talking shit about me in the middle of class saying that I was a snob and "I had my nose up in the sky". I found this extremely rude for 2 reasons, for one they were doing this in the middle of class when everyone could hear, and secondly their reasoning for saying this was completely stupid. They said I was snobby because I did my homework and they didn't. And then they have the balls to try to reach over to grab my paper to write the answers! Let's just say I did not let him see my paper. I really want to know how to deal with this person because when I try to joke and poke at them back they act like a completely baby about it and acts mad for two whole days. I am really getting sick of this mother fucker and I really want to put them in their place. How should I let them know that I think they are nothing more than a jealous, bitter, critical, stupid prick?
