My brother had the brilliant idea to hold down the pound button to turn off vibrate (I didn't know how) and now the phone is locked. According to the manual, since the code isn't set I have to give it the "last four digits of ESN DEC if your mobile phone number is not set." I have no idea what that is, and I'm assuming that's what I'm supposed to use, since the last four digits of my phone number didn't work. Can anyone help?

I have never heard of the last four digits of the ESN as being the unlock code. The last four of your phone number should have done the trick unless of coarse the phone isn't activated to your number which then would be the last four of whoever owned it before you did. you can also try all zeros but if the phone was previously programmed to a different number, then chances are that it's that.

(ESN: Electronic Serial Number)
