Hopefully - protected to preserve the area of outstanding natural beauty for generations to come .

pressure on them from demand for hotels , shopping , residential planning , preservation of inhabitants of the area to preserve their way of life , carbon deposits due to high vehicle use , demand for roads to alleviate congestion . Demand from environmentalists to ban the motor car from accessing the areas and provide public transport or environmentally friendly vehicles . all the pressures deteriorate the area of natural beauty until it no longer is an area of natural beauty or characterful .
