A lot of studies are being done that involve controlling technology with the sole use of brain power. We've come to a point where nano machines can be built on a microscopic level. Before, the goal for many electronics was about making them smaller, but this has been achieved so well that now, the problem is devices can be too tiny to operate effectively. I believe cyber-kinesis or cyberpathy will be more common in the future. Humans might have the ability to manipulate and communicate with computers like the character Micah from that show "Heroes".
