what is the interest the united states has in ghana?

bill clinton was the first president to go there. george w. bush went there. then barack obama went there. i assume bill was interested in the black women. i assume george was interested in the black men. i have no idea what barack wants. what do you think?

Despite your juvenile assumptions, I'll bite: It's because Ghana is one of the relatively safe and successful countries in Africa, so going to that country shows the rest of the continent that they can expect more US support if they follow that Ghanian model.
