I remember hearing once that the direction a hero of a text travels usually has a deeper meaning (west- searching for freedom; east- enlightenment), but I'm not sure if my memory on this fact is correct. Is there a deeper meaning to directionality of the heroes' travel? And if so, what are the meanings? Are there meanings for north and south? if they go roughly Northwest, does it mean they're looking for two different things?
