...discovered? so i have to do a presentation on an important invention in front of my university class and i have no idea what to do. it can be anything aslong as its interesting. its a test of presentation skills which i suck at due to low confidence so the weirder and more interesting the better

The most important one could be antibiotics or the combustion engine or nuclear fission, but that wouldn't be the most interesting...
The condom is an interesting and important invention, and has an interesting history dating back to the 1500s, originally made from animal intestines or linen then by 1855 the rubber condom was available.
