What is the movie about the virus that is sent from the future to the past?

Virus is sent back in a package with code. On the end they discover that they sent it to prevent him in the future because cure is destroyed (it's some kind of sponge that live in ocean)
It's a ''smart'' virus and his cells can communicate and they must destroy him completely so he cannot inform other cells that he is attacked.
It's not Retrograde.
