What is the name of a sci-fi b movie that has to do with clones? ...?

The movie begins with a scientist working in a research lab, testing animals. Animal rights activists blow the building up. The scientist wakes up in the future and his partner informs him that he died in the explosion and had been cloned.

I don't recall the rest of the movie. Does anyone know what it is?
