What is the part that a GMC Envoy 4WD Driveshaft goes into? And how would I

dismantle that? I have a 2002 GMC Envoy 4WD. I have a problem with the piece that the left driveshaft goes into. (I have no idea what this piece is called.) I have a problem that entails my dismantling of that piece. Since I have no clue what it is called, every search online turns out fruitless. Maybe someone here is familiar with the name and/or how to do it. A site that documents all parts of the GMC Envoy 4WD for free would also be helpfull...
