What is the perfect rifle for hunting coyotes?

Something in 204 Ruger,223, or 22-250. If you limit yourself to 150 yards or less the 17 HMR is a good choice. 243 with 55 grain V-max would work well too, and then you could re-zero and use 95 grain bonded bullets for deer.

There are lots of good shooting rifles out there for these calibers, from Savage to Ruger to Browning to Kimber, pick your favorite.

.22 me and my friend get on his 4wheeler every day. we live in a rural part of eastern Oregon. we track them down on the 4wheeler. sometimes run them over till they are dead or until they cant run then one to finish them off. also you could use a shotgun, just gotta shoot them in the right place. it doesn't damage the hide as much as it sounds. we also keep the hide. hope i couldn't help.
