First you take the Initial Strength Test
1.5 mile run - min=14min
pullups - min=2
crunches - min=45
You take the IST while in the Delayed Entry Program, before you ship off to boot camp, and before training starts.
A month into boot camp, then twice more, you take the Physical Fitness Test
3 mile run - min=28min
pullups - min=3
crunches - min=55
From there, you take the PFT during the first half of the year, and a Combat Fitness Test during the second half of the year
