i have an oldsmobile bravada 1998 4 wheel drive. the upper ball joint is easy but im having trouble with the bottom joint. i already drilled and punched the rivets out and separated and took out the old joint. i tried to put the joint in the knuckle when the joint was on the control arm but the drive axle wont go that far down then i tried to put the joint straight into the knuckle but there's no clearance. what is a good way to do this, should i disconnect the drive axle or is there another way. the tie rod is already disconnected also. so if anyone has done the work on this kind of truck or similar any help will be appreciated also on the side i just finished the wheel tilts inward does it need an alignment or did i not do something right. keep in mind it was still jacked up and only hand tightened it wasn't lower or fully tightened. if it stays that way will an alignment fix it.
