What is the proper way to hook up a TV, receiver, and blueray?

I want to know if there is a simple way someone can tell me or point me to on how to hook up a tv, receiver, Blueray player, and HD DirecTv?
I have HD everything and hdmi cables, but how should they all be wired? My receiver has 3 hdmi inputs and 1 output.

If your receiver supports audio via HDMI connection then you just connect HDMI from Blu-ray player and HD Direct TV to receiver and another HDMI output from receiver to TV for video.

Hook your Blu-ray and your receiver with HDMI, then the receiver to the TV with HDMI.

So, Bluray HDMI OUT --> Reciever HDMI IN --> Reciever HDMI OUT --> TV HDMI IN. You'll need 2 HDMI cables.

and you can also hook you TV to the Receiver with an OPTICAL cable, so you listen to your TV through the big speakers (in surround sound if the receiver have ProLogic)
