What is the safest p2p (peer to peer) program for downloading music?

I got a new Macbook and I know they don't get viruses, but I want to be careful. I'm always picky with which files I download (I check the info before I download). Limewire 5 came out, which they claim is safer than the old one. I've also heard stuff about Frostwire and Utorrent. If there is a different program that I don't know about, I'm open to that. Which program has the least amount of viruses and all that bad stuff?
 
limewire is safe. you just have to preview your current downloads so that you will know if it is the one you want
