what is the smallest(shortest?) type of goldfish(when fully grown)?

I want to breed my own feeder goldfish rather than buy them, quarantine them, then feed them to my oscar...then go buy more, since I read you should feed them a max of 3 live fish a week

and the smallest/shortest is just so I can save space(gallons of tank)
 
Just use the feeder fish at the petstore. Breed them. Get a 20 gallon tank and put 2-3 fish. Get a good powerful filter.
