I remember reading a book a year or two ago and loved it. I even bought the book after renting it from the library, and it has disappeared. I remember a few key details, though I don't know if they will help find the answer.
The begining of the book is a woman at home and sick with the flu. Her husband is suppose to go get her perscription but doesn't and she has to get out and go get it. After returning to her car, she is attacked and stabbed, resulting with her unable to have children. After this ordeal, she goes to a cabin in the woods that was left to her husband in the will of one of his ancestors, I think it was his estranged grandmother, to re-think her marriage. There is a quilt in the cabin that plays a part in the story and part of the story is the woman finding the history of the quilt and her husband's grandmother. She even ends up building on to the cabin. Her sister and two nieces also play into the story. I loved this book and would love to read more by the author, but I can not remember the author or even the title of the book.
