I saw registration code in home dvd player. my player support mp3, avi, mp2,mp1 formats only. not mp4 format.. what is use of register in divx vod...
 
They give you extra support and you are now licensed to use Dvix to encode and decode that is.....

Most players can not play .MP4 you need a Media Player (WD Live TV, Roku) they have the licenses to play the upper media content thats out there.
