What is this animated movie called?

I vaguely remember any of it at all. I saw it in the early 90s. It was an animated movie about a young boy and a bird-an eagle I think? Somehow there's drama about the birds eggs I believe. A man wants them who drives a truck vehicle. There's a lot of conflict between the boy and the man. Any idea of what I'm talking abotu? Thank you
