What is this octuplet mother thing that has been in the news?

I keep hearing about this octuplet mother but never hear enough of it to know what the debate is?
Thank you Travis....so what is the debate? Is it that she can't afford them?
 
She already had six children, Then went to the doctors for artificial insemination. she had eight more children then.
 
She is a 33 year old woman who had in-vitro for her other 6 children (all under 8 years old), she went in for another procedure which produced 8 babies. She is unmarried and unemployed, living with her parents in a small 3 bedroom home. Her mother went on tv saying she thought what this lady did was wrong, on so many levels.
