What is this "spy" thing called?

lame question i know but still....

here is what know about it....
-you put it in your ear and it is so small u barely see it
-you have to have a microphone sothe other ppl can hear what is going on
-another person has a mic and then u hear them telling them stuff through it

wow that doesnt help at all does it!! hahaha anyway if u know what i mean plzzz answer!!!! <#

p.s. it is used on tv cop shows like ncis and stuff!!

now days we call it blue tooth. But they always refered to it as a wire.
