What is/was your grandma's special dish?

She was really good with potato recipe, whenever I went to grandma's place I've always wanted to eat potato. Her best potato dishes are...

- potatoes and beef rice
- fried potato cake

Not her specials, but my favorites are her buttermilk biscuits and Coke cake. (Dad's mom)

Mom's mom...well, I have warm fuzzy feelings about simple macaronis and tomato.

My favorite dish from my grandfather food menu is his chicken noodle soup that's the only food i keep requesting everytime i go visit them and my grandmother i like her egg rolls.

My Irish grandma turned out some spectacular potatoes too :)
(and so do I)

But my other grandma did the best cooking. I haven't eaten peach pie since she died...I take a tiny taste & spit it out, cause no one can make one like hers.....not even me :(

chicken n' dumplins
lemon cake
she loved to make pork chops with green beans and mac&cheese.

i'm hungry now and miss grandmother.

I never met either of my grandmas, both are now gone... One just recently.

But when I was younger my mom made really good chicken n dumplings... That sounds like a grandma meal lol even tho she learned that recipe from a long time family friend.
