There are a few bad sectors on the disk. Do a Error Checking and repair.
Right click the drive, Properties>tools>Error Checking. The data on the bad sectors would be moved to good ones.
Anyway, your hard disk might be dying. You better get another new disk and save your data.

yes you have some bad sectors! basically if you imaging that your disk drive is a big pie, and your computer needs to eat from a slice of the pie at certain times, then...the pie isnt edible in some areas...the sector or slice may have some important reading in it making your system crash as its bad!

If est tools have an option to scan and re-map the sectors...do that! it will push the bad sectors to one side or you could back up the lot and "zero" pass the whole drive...cleaning the lot way above the rate windows CHKDSK can do!, but i doubt it would need that!!!

EST tools should have all you need on it!

good luck!
