what car could do that with the best fuel economy

the weight of the boat, motor gear and trailer should be less than 1,000 lbs and any vehicle with a tow cap of 1,000 lbs or more will work, but i strongly recommend that you look at a 4x4 equipped vehicle. launching on slippery ramps can be a problem with fwd and 2wd vehicles.

you may want to look at small suv's or small 4x4 trucks.

Yeah, thats a very light boat. Any car could pull that around with no problem. I'd say a car would still give the best fuel economy since suv's and trucks will burn more fuel. The boat is really not heavy enough to put into the fuel equation.
