What kind of DVD drive do I need to purchase?

Hi. I recently purchased The Sims 3 to play on my Dell Dimension 8400 desktop but then I... uh, stupidly realized that I don't have a DVD drive. Is there a specific type that I need to buy or can I install any drive? I'd prefer not to spend too much money because I just purchased a $50 game and $50 memory upgrade... :/ Thank you!
