what kind of fish do you recommend for a 45 gall tank?

i want to get two bala sharks to put in a 45 gall tank and if it is not possible to do i was wondering what kind of fish you recommend for a 45 gall tank
 
I have a 55 Gallon with 1 Bala Shark Hes real big right now about 7 inches, i would have two but i also have a 8 inch pleco, the shark is my centerpeice in the tank hes awesome, very active and very fast, i wouldnt get two because when i got a second one my older shark stopped eating and he died...maybe if you get two at the same time you wont have that problem...

I also have some 5 tetras, 4 giant danios, 5 red minors all these guys are schooling fish, along with 1 red rainbow 1 tourquoise rainbow, 1 gold gourami, 2 clown loaches (by far my favroite in my tank) and 3 cory cats, i have NEVER had a problem with fish picking on each other that all swim at different levels....

the rainbows really give you ALOT of color in the tank, and when the sharks get bigger their markings are really brilliant without being way to colorful...
