What kind of fish food should i get for my baby red bellied pacu?

hes about 3 inches at the most right now and i just got him tuesday he dosent seem to like the flake food i have and i bought some shrimp pellets yesterday but they are more for bottom feeders and he dosent care to much for those either. What kind of food should i buy him and could he eat oscar mini biites? they are food specialy designed for oscars but could he eat them?
