Hi , I'm 19 years old , and I used to play the piano for 5 years as a child , and I read music sheets pretty well but I was always so board with it , I didn’t even choose to play it , my parents suggested it to me .
Growing up I've always loved the sound of the violin , I tear up whenever I hear beautiful music played on it , and I always wanted to learn to play on It.
So after some research online ,I found out that there is an electric violin as well , and since I will be trying to self teach me , I was worried about how am I going to tune the acoustic instrument .. ? What brand should I consider buying? If I'm getting an electric violin, will I still be able to play Mozart, Vivaldi, yanni and other composer's compositions of this kind on it?
I have a budget of 500 $ to spend on a violin, and I don’t want to waste that, I want some advice on how i can get a good deal …..
Is it too late for me to learn violin on such age? And is it a good idea to learn violin online ?
I would appreciate it if share your experiences with me , like if you played on both electric or acoustic ,or you started learning late , or what brand did you buy as a beginner ? or how are you doing after some time learning on your own ?
