What kinda cars are there that are like the Mazda rx8?

I loveee the Mazda Rx8 but i know that they don't get good gas mileage or so iv heard and i want a car like it but with better mileage.

please help!
i like the body style, the digital speedometer thats right in front of you, the "suicide doors?" and the interior. I really love this car and i really want it but if i can find something that gets a little bit more gas mileage then ill look more into it. i now have 04 Ford Taurus and im running the engine out cause i drive like im driving a sports car.

Nothing is really like it. Maybe the saturn ion coupe? If you're talking about suicide doors. You can get a redline if you can drive stick or a 2.4 with the redline body panels and spoiler if you want a car that looks "aggressive".

It depends on what you mean by "like" an rx-8. An rx-8 is extremely high maintenance. When you figure out exactly what it is you like about the rx-8 you can look for similar qualities in other cars. I have to agree with Hank that there really isnt anything too "like" an rx-8. I have one and she is my pride and joy, but not without fault. I would take a look at some domestic muscle cars. They may not have the exact body style that you like, but there are some cute ones, gas mileage will probably be better, parts will be cheaper and they are fast. What about a newer camaro?
